Exhibitions and Meetings Safety and Security Initiative launch. Safety and security within meetings and exhibitions is the industry's #1 priority. It is our collective responsibility to mitigate the safety and security risks facing attendees, exhibitors and our employees — we must be proactive in our efforts.Led by the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), along with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), the Exhibition Services Contractors Association (ESCA) and Keyway, our industry is launching an initiative to create nationally designated smart practices and guidelines for the meetings and exhibitions industry that will be recognized by the Safety Act Office of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
